NEW as of September 5th, 2022 - Vaccination Policy

We will require ALL interns for Spring Match Groups to be vaccinated. The Spring Match has a travel component, requiring all interns to be in person in Washington. One case of COVID when traveling out-of-state to On-Site would be hugely detrimental to the education whole cohort.
We will allow unvaccinated interns for Fall Match if they can find and secure supervised practice sites that do not require vaccination, and follow strict guidelines (Find Details Here). We have seen unvaccinated interns face extra challenges, and do not want to mislead you. This is a much harder path. More details can be found here and below.

- Many facilities will not allow unvaccinated interns to be at the rotation site, and many states mandate vaccination for those in health care.
- Job opportunities for unvaccinated RDN are fewer.
- We want to minimize the risk to all at rotation sites. Vaccination is the best way to do that. If that doesn't work for you, be aware that your supervised practice will take longer. We will require breaks between rotations to avoid spreading COVID from one site to another. Unvaccinated people will need to stay away from supervised practice sites for 10 days if exposed to COVID (even if you don't have symptoms).
- There will be extra expenses (N95 masks, COVID tests) born by the intern.
